The MS107 is a hybrid cross of Sorghum x Sudan grass.
The MS107 is very leafy and has a good regrowth potential if not grazed below 20 cm. This makes it a good choice for green pasture or green fodder in summer. It can establish quickly and produce its first grazing within 6 – 8 weeks. MS107 likes warmer conditions.
MS107 is very drought tolerant – it can come to a complete halt during stress periods to wait for rain. Plants can cause prussic acid poisoning when they are subjected to stressful conditions.
